The 2026 SONA Awards brought together songwriters, nominees, music creators, and industry professionals for a celebration of the talent and creativity behind the music. The event recognized the people whose songwriting and artistry help shape the sounds heard around the world.
As a SONA member and Recording Academy Voting Member, I was especially excited to attend this year’s celebration. Representing Detaron Mag and Detaron TV, I had the pleasure of interviewing members of the SONA Board, nominees, songwriters, and other talented music industry professionals.
It was a great opportunity to hear their stories, learn more about their creative journeys, and connect with fellow music professionals. As a recording artist and songwriter myself, I truly appreciate the work and inspiration that go into creating music.

The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, networking, and memorable moments. I had an absolute blast being part of an event that shines a spotlight on the songwriters and creative voices who are such an important part of the music industry.
Congratulations to SONA and everyone recognized at this year’s awards. It was a pleasure to celebrate the community and share a few of its stories with our Detaron audiences.
